This year, Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (otherwise known as Mooncake or Lantern Festival) will fall on September 8th. The Chinese have a 3 day holiday to celebrate. Mooncakes are enjoyed by all during this festival. Restaurants and shops are forever inventing new fillings and coming up with interesting designs for the pastry.
